C-Bus & DALI Lighting Recommissioning
Our recent commissioning upgrade project at the NSW Government Placemaking Offices in The Rocks involved the recommissioning and reprogramming of new DALI lighting fittings integrated with the Clipsal C-Bus system. The upgraded lighting control system was configured through Clipsal C-Bus EDLTs across office boardrooms, kitchen areas, quiet rooms, and reception spaces to ensure seamless operation and improved functionality throughout the workspace.
C-Bus SpaceLogic Relay Upgrade & Modernization
A faulty 12-channel C-Bus relay was causing lights to flicker and behave erratically across warehouse areas and cool rooms. Diagnostics confirmed an internal power supply failure. We replaced the legacy unit with a brand-new 16-channel SpaceLogic relay, providing the client with updated technology and the flexibility to add more circuits in the future.
C-Bus SpaceLogic Relay Upgrade
Existing C-Bus relay modules across the office were malfunctioning, causing lights to randomly switch on and off throughout all office areas. All relay units were replaced with new Schneider Electric C-Bus SpaceLogic 16-channel relay modules, resolving the fault completely.
Automated Blind Control Programming & Commissioning
Engaged by the blinds contractor to program and commission new automated sheer and blockout blind control across 3 floors in the building at WSU's 1 Parramatta Square campus. Scope covered EDLT configuration and blind controller commissioning — programming automated scenes and schedules for the new blind system.
Dynalite System Minor Works & Reprogramming
Engaged by the site electricians to carry out minor service and reprogramming works on the Dynalite lighting control system at WSU's Parramatta South Campus — EB Building, School of Nursing & Midwifery. Works included Dynalite switch replacement, system reprogramming and recommissioning across multiple rooms on campus.
DALI Lighting Upgrade — Remote Commissioning at Ayers Rock Resort
Sydney Automation Co. was engaged by Dream Tech AV to program and commission a new DALI lighting installation in the Ballrooms at the iconic Uluru Meeting Place, Ayers Rock Resort. The project involved replacing older DSI fittings with modern DALI LED drivers, creating new lighting scenes across the ballroom and foyer areas with full room join functionality — all delivered completely remotely from Sydney to Uluru. Remote commissioning at one of Australia's most remote and culturally significant landmarks presented unique challenges, from coordinating with the onsite electrician and AV team across time zones to troubleshooting network connectivity over distance. This landmark project demonstrates that Sydney Automation Co. can deliver complex lighting control outcomes anywhere in Australia, no matter how remote.
